The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Jacqueline Laurita, is one busy woman.

She recently sat down to chat with Celebrity Baby Scoop about her three kids with husband Chris, serving as an advocate for autism and her newly launched Altruistic Beauty site. Speaking of her children, Jacqueline her 22-year-old daugther Ashlee is happy and visits from California often. While her 11-year-old CJ loves golf and four-year-old Nicholas is making progress with his early intervention of autism. “He continues to surprise us all the time with his achievements. We believe in him,” she says.

“At first, the (autism) diagnosis was devastating. It seemed so final at the time. I felt lost,” she says. “I knew that early intervention was the key to recovery and that I had to learn whatever I could about autism and do whatever I could do, as quickly as possible, to give my son the best outcome for his future. Autism awareness and recovering our child has become our mission.”

On RHONJ, Jacqueline says, “The show has given me the opportunity to see myself as others see me. I’ve learned things from watching myself and the others. I have had interesting experiences being on the show. It has given me a huge platform to raise autism awareness. It has given me the opportunities to connect with other people that I may have never had the opportunity to meet, had I not been on the show.” Aside from RHONJ, Laurita has launched Altruistic.com. “AltruisticBeauty.com will be different because we have industry professionals on down to the everyday girl (or guy) that has a wealth of knowledge to share. We have put together an amazing panel of experts that are pioneers in their respective fields.”
