No need to find scrap paper or pen when you want to play a few rounds of this kid classic. This windproof version is also ideal for the beach or a picnic.
YOUโLL NEED
- 4 similar size twigs
- Twine
- White glue
- 5 light-coloured stones
- 5 dark-coloured stones
- Permanent marker
1. Lay out the four twigs in a tic-tac-toe pattern.
2. Cut a piece of twine about 20 cm long. Tie it around one of the twig joints, leaving a long end of twine. Wrap the twine around the joint in a figure eight fashion. Tie it again.
3. Repeat with the other three twig intersections.
4. Add a dab of glue on top of each twine figure eight and let dry overnight.
5. Mark the xโs and oโs on the stones according to colour, and watch the fun unfold.
