Family Fun Guide North of Toronto for August 9-11

Best kids attractions in north toronto - parents canada

The pressure is on to make the best of the few weekends left before Labour Day and the end of summer vacation. Fear not, there’s no reason to feel any pressure, August promises even more delightful festivals, celebrations and family fun.

Areas north of Toronto are home to some of the best family attractions in Ontario. Attractions are not only fun, but some can offer a little edu-tainment outside of the regular classroom. But shh! Don’t tell the kids!

As a parent I’ve been out and about myself and know that lots of families are on the move this summer! The weather has been pretty good, not too humid and not too much rain, for pretty much any activity a kid can do!

KIDS AND FAMILY EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEKEND AHEAD BY AREA:

These events are within 1-3 hours north of Toronto and are reasonable when considering a day trip, or stay at any family friendly accommodation and extend the fun. These events would also be within proximity or close to many of Ontario’s ‘cottage country’.
