Summer programs for preschoolers and toddlers

Wondering what to do with your toddler or preschoolers in Toronto this summer?  Here are four ideas!

Fun With Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program. Classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical. All children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat and participate with confidence in the music of our culture, provided that their early environment supports such learning.
Age: 0-5 years, Cost: $140-$175

Sportball offers non-competitive sports instruction for children 16 months to 12 years old. Kids are introduced to eight popular sports: soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, golf and football.
Age: 0-10 years, Cost: $163-214

Insider Tip: This is a great program for dads to try! Try their Parent & Tot program, 2-3.5 yr old is outdoors at High Park!

Little Kickers uses soccer as a fun forum to instil our growing squad of pre-schoolers with a little extra confidence, coordination, control and sense of camaraderie; which we feel will stand them in very good stead for the future. 
Age: 18 months – 7 years, Junior Kickers 2-3.5 years, Mighty Kickers 3.5-5 years. Cost: $92-$170

Insider Tip: You’re going to want to sign up for this program just for the uniforms. Get the camera ready when you see 10 little tots chasing a ball in their little soccer uniforms

Toddler Connections allows you to experience all of the above, all in one program!  This four-week session is different from previous classes in that all of the activities will be interactive with your toddler and you will be with them the entire time. The series starts June 26 from 10:30 a.m. – noon every Wednesday. Classes will be held at Light Up The Floor (80 Advance Road). Activities will include SportBall, Music, Little Kickers Soccer, Art, Storytime, Zumba for kids, photography and more! For more information, or to register, click here.
