March arrives this weekend. The days are longer bringing more sunshine and hints of spring, however this is still a wonderful time of year to enjoy winter activities like skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or snow tubing! It could be the peak season and best time to enjoy the snow before it is gone.

Family Art Workshop: (Sunday) Regional artist leads the whole family in creating hands-on collaborative art projects with a wide range of materials at the MacLaren Art Centre.
Burton Snowboard Demo Tour:The Burton Snowboard Demo Tour will makes its stop at Snow Valley on March 2 and 3.
Snowboard Ontario Championships: As part of the Snowboard Ontario Championships partaking at Mt. St. Louis, Horseshoe Resort will be hosting an evening event with a Duel Slalmon race & rail jam.

Winter Weekends: Make every weekend a long weekend at Blue Mountain Village! It starts on Friday with the 10:30 a.m. Guided Columbia Snowshoe Tour and runs through to Sunday evening with live music on every night.

Farmers’ Market: Midland’s Indoor Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market is held every Saturday from November 3, 2012 to March 30, 2013 at the North Simcoe Sports & Recreation Centre.
Come Try Hockey: Boys and girls ages 5-13 come try hockey free on Sundays from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Port Carling Arena.
