Low-fat cheese fondue

Get your kids to eat loads of veggies with this bubbly and warming melted cheese fondue.


2 cups low-fat Swiss cheese
2 cups low-fat cream cheese
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup non-alcoholic beer
3 tbsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste


In a medium saucepan on low to medium heat, put cheese and cornstarch and begin to melt cheese. Add beer and continue to heat till mixture starts to bubble. Do not boil. Add the rest of the ingredients and continue to cook and stir until thoroughly melted together. Pour into fondue pot and keep warm. Serve with cut up veggies.
