Superfood: Apples

As kids head back to class, pack their lunchbox with this nutritional powerhouse. Apples are members of the rose family, contain no fat, sodium or cholesterol and are a good source of fibre. A medium-sized apple contains approximately 80 calories and most of an apple’s nutrients can be found in the skin.

It takes four apples to make a glass of pure apple juice.
