As adults, we look back at our childhood summers with nostalgia, and so many images come to mind. For some of us, it might be s’mores over a campfire or swims in the lake; for others, it might be city wading pools and ice cream trucks. So we wondered, what do kids these days think of when they look forward to summer? We gave six kids carte blanche to take pictures of their favourite summer experiences, to give us a taste of our own memories. (The good news? It’s really not so different. Ice cream, berry picking and sunsets still reign supreme.)
