Superfood: Peanuts

No need to be afraid of these little powerhouses (unless you have an allergy). In fact, peanuts and peanut butter are pretty popular with Canadian consumers – with good reason. According to a Peanut Bureau of Canada survey, 95 percent of Canadian consumers eat peanuts and 79 percent eat peanut butter at least once per week.

Just one serving of peanuts is full of protein, fibre, healthy fats and essential vitamins and minerals. Peanuts are also a great source of magnesium, manganese, niacin and vitamin E.
