Try shopping at the Leslieville Farmers’ Market

Have you checked out the East End Farmers Markets?? We actually have a lot in the east end  but one that I particularly love is the Leslieville Farmers’ Market. The market takes place on Sundays from 9-2 p.m. at Jonathan Ashbridge Park, off of eastern across from the McDonalds.

My family and I enjoy going there not only because of all the local, delicious food but it’s a fun outing and there’s a park for the kids to play in after you’re done shopping.  Even if your kid doesn’t enjoy the park there is usually some form of entertainment, if all the crowds and other kids aren’t entertaining enough.

In terms of the food we’ve gotten a variety of things from fruit and veggies, to meat and even desserts!!! One of the common arguments or complaints is that farmers markets are pricey, but once you taste some of the food I doubt you’ll complain. Fn fact, you’ll probably say the price is worth it.
