Maple-Bacon Spiced Nuts

Ingredients

3-4 cups President’s Choice 48% Cashews Deluxe Mixed Nuts
1/4 cup President’s Choice Smoky Bacon-Flavoured Maple Syrup
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp chili powder
A good grinding of flaky salt

Directions

Preheat the oven to 325F.

In a medium bowl, toss the nuts, syrup, melted butter, cinnamon and chili powder; toss to combine everything well and spread out in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt.

Bake for 10-15 minutes, stirring once or twice, until golden and frangrant. Remove from the oven and stir again, then set aside to cool. Once completely cooled, store in an airtight container or pack into jars or tissue-lined Chinese take-out containers for gift-giving.

Makes 3-4 cups.
